Chicago-based global healthcare company Abbott (NYSE: ABT) announced on Friday a 7.3% increase in its quarterly common dividend, raising it to USD0.59 per share.
Quarterly dividend payouts have grown over 60% since 2020. This marks 53 consecutive years of dividend growth and the 404th consecutive quarterly dividend since 1924.
The cash dividend will be paid on 14 February 2025, to shareholders of record as of 15 January 2025.
Abbott is included in the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index, recognizing companies with at least 25 consecutive years of dividend increases.
