Digital business solutions and services provider Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq:CNDT) announced on Thursday that the Republic of Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) has selected its Maven Disease Surveillance & Outbreak Management System to enhance infectious disease tracking and management.
Under a five-year contract, Maven will replace HSE's legacy system, providing more efficient disease event generation and data integration.
Maven will enable seamless coordination among medical professionals and epidemiologists, automating the process of case reporting and significantly reducing manual data entry. The system's cloud-hosted platform is designed to offer flexibility, supporting effective collaboration and rapid responses to public health threats.
This marks Maven's first deployment in the European Union, following successful implementations in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. Conduent's system will help HSE detect and respond to infectious disease events more rapidly across Ireland.
Maven is currently used by 28 global government agencies to manage public health threats, including COVID-19, Mpox, Ebola and measles.
